EMIRATES RESUMES FLAGSHIP A380 SERVICE TO HONG KONG

Emirates announced the resumption of its A380 operations to Hong Kong from 1 April becoming the first airline to operate the iconic aircraft to Hong Kong since the suspension of passenger flights early last year.

In a statement, the carrier said the return of the Emirates A380 to Hong Kong signifies the airline’s continued commitment to and confidence in the A380 programme, with the gradual resumption of its A380 network worldwide.

Aside from being one of the world's largest passenger jet, the aircraft also has a lot of cargo space. The aircraft has 300 square meters of volume capacity and can hold 50 tonnes of cargo in the belly hold of the aircraft.

The plane will have daily service between Dubai-Bangkok-Hong Kong — with connections to any destination on Emirates' current network of over 90 destinations in the Americas, Europe, Africa, Middle East, and the Asia Pacific via Dubai.
