CAROTRANS LAUNCHES BUSAN-ATLANTA LCL SERVICE
May 25, 2016

Non-vessel-operating common carrier CaroTrans has added a weekly direct less-than-container-load service between Busan and Atlanta.

According to CaroTrans, the service, which eliminates stops in Los Angeles and New York, has a transit time of 27 days.

“Direct, weekly LCL transportation options enable companies of all sizes, but especially small- to mid-size businesses, the ability to dispatch smaller freight volumes to customers in global markets offering greater flexibility and inventory control,” said Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans. “Along with building a comprehensive global network with more and more direct LCL service options, we are committed to providing technology solutions that enhance the efficient management and processing of global ocean shipments. For imports, we deliver an online freight release e-tool that expedites the release of import cargo and offers direct cargo control for customers.”

CaroTrans, in partnership with MOLAX in South Korea, already offers weekly LCL services from South Korea to Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco and Seattle.
