Royal Schiphol Group has announced that Eduard Molkenboer will join as head of cargo from August 5, 2025.

The group said Molkenboer brings over 30 years of international experience in supply chain management, including 25 years in executive roles across both corporate and private equity environments.

His previous roles were at companies such as CleanLease and DHL Supply Chain.

"With his arrival, we are taking an important step in implementing our renewed cargo strategy," Royal Schiphol Group said in the announcement.

"This strategy was developed in close collaboration with the cargo community and focuses on optimizing the supply chain, increasing load factors, and strengthening cooperation with partners such as Cargonaut and Maastricht Aachen Airport," it added.

Schiphol said Molkenboer's appointment will further strengthen the gateway's future-proof cargo position.
