CMA CGM LAUNCHES OCEAN ALLIANCE DAY TWO PRODUCT

The CMA CGM Group has launched the Ocean Alliance Day Two Product, its new service offering which will begin in April 2018.

 

According to CMA CGM, the product will have an estimated capacity of approximately 3.6 million TEUs, operated by around 340 container vessels on 41 services. CMA CGM itself will deploy a fleet of 122 ships.

 

“Ocean Alliance has been a fantastic success from a customer perspective since its launch last spring and we are very enthusiastic to announce our Day Two Product,” said Olivier Nivoix, senior vice president of Ocean Alliance Lines. “This new product perfectly illustrates our customer centric strategy, by improving the service level provided with new solutions in key areas such as US East Coast, Red Sea, Middle East Gulf and Europe.”

 

The alliance, consisting of CMA CGM, COSCO, Evergreen and OOCL, will offer a total of 20 trans-Pacific services, six Asia-Europe services, four Asia-Mediterranean services, four trans-Atlantic services, five Asia-Middle East services and two Asia-Red Sea services, according to CMA CGM.
