CAROTRANS LAUNCHES TAIWAN-NEW YORK LCL SERVICE

Non-vessel-operating common carrier CaroTrans has added a weekly direct LCL import service between Taiwan and New York.

 

The first sailing is scheduled for December 4 and will have a transit time of 32 days from Taichung, Kaohsiung and Keelung, offering express connections to Baltimore, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

 

“There’s a need in the marketplace today for efficient, direct transportation services and customer-focused, personalized service,” said Greg Howard, CEO of CaroTrans. “That’s why we’re continuously expanding our global transportation network to assist logistics service providers in their goal to deliver excellent supply chain solutions to their customers. This service is another example of our commitment to deepening our global services network.”

 

Apart from New York, CaroTrans offers direct import services to Chicago and Los Angeles from Taiwan, which is the 10th-largest trading partner of the US.
