CMA CGM AIR CARGO, a division of the CMA CGM Group, is enhancing its digital presence by offering its capacity on the Freightos, cargo.one and CargoAi online booking platforms.
The air cargo carrier will make its capacity available for forwarders on Freightos' WebCargo and 7LFreight cargo booking platforms. They will also be able to access CMA CGM AIR CARGO's global air freight network and see real-time rates and eBook cargo on key trade lanes connecting the United States, France, Italy, Spain, and Asia.
"Adding CMA CGM AIR CARGO capacity to WebCargo and 7LFreight makes it easy for forwarders to eBook shipments on key trade lanes, helping the industry adjust quickly to changing market conditions," said Wayne Tyndall, VP Commercial – Freight Forwarders & Airlines at Freightos.
Starting January 30, these offerings will provide more logistics options for customers, enhancing capacity across key trade hubs in Europe, North America, and Asia.

The company also has Transpacific routes linking Greater China and North America.
"Freight forwarders using cargo.one in the United States, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Belgium, and Italy, can now book capacity for general cargo and perishable shipments to destinations including Shanghai, Hong Kong, Incheon, Guangzhou and Chicago," cargo.one said.
It added that capacity options are available up to 5000kg with CMA CGM Standard service and with Express service on applicable routes.
CargoAi also announced a similar deal with CMA CGM AIR CARGO aimed to enhance airfreight booking capabilities on CargoMART, CargoAi's platform for freight management.
CargoMART provides a range of features including real-time capacity and rate visibility, quoting, e-Booking, and Track and Trace functionalities.
CargoAi noted that one differentiating feature of the platform is the ability to compare flight options by carbon emissions, track CO2 emissions at a shipment level, and purchase sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) whenever required.
Following the integration, CargoAi noted that CMA CGM AIR CARGO will have exposure to more than 17,000 freight forwarders across more than 130 countries who regularly use the CargoAi marketplace.
