"With the prospect of current cease-fire agreement bringing de-escalation to the conflict, we have decided to resume vessel calls to the Port of Haifa, and acceptance for both import and export cargo is now open," the Danish container shipping company said on a June 27 advisory.
"As of 25 June 2025, we have reopened import cargo acceptance to Haifa port," it said, noting that vessels scheduled to call Haifa will continue with their regular port calls starting Monday, June 30.
"The situation and operations at the Port of Ashdod remain unchanged, though we continue to monitor the latest developments and maritime advisories," Maersk said, adding that the safety of its crews and operations remains its top priority.
"We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will be ready to make changes if safety concerns reappear," Maersk said.
"Rest assured that our teams are doing their utmost to minimise the impact on your supply chains," it added.
Due to escalations in tensions in the Middle East that have impacted operations involving Iran and Israel, Maersk has previously announced a temporary suspension of vessel calls to the Port of Haifa on June 19.
