AMAZON AIR CARGO, AIR PREMIA PARTNER TO BOOST CARGO NETWORK
July 11, 2025

Amazon Air Cargo and South Korea's Air Premia have entered an interline agreement that extends their joint network from Incheon to Honolulu,  with onward connections across the United States.

Air Premia will operate cargo services between Incheon and Honolulu, with Amazon Air Cargo managing onward distribution to 45 U.S. cities, including major hubs such as Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Houston, and New York's JFK.

Branded as "Aloha Express," the service began operations on July 9 and aims to accelerate freight movement between Asia and the U.S. mainland.

By positioning Honolulu as a strategic trans-Pacific logistics hub, the partnership streamlines cargo flows between Asia and the U.S., cutting delivery times and logistical costs by up to 20% compared to conventional direct routes.

The service, operated by Air Premia using Boeing 787 aircraft, enables faster and more cost-effective distribution across the 45 US cities through Amazon Air Cargo's domestic network.

Air Premia said it would utilise its Valley Cargo service for the Incheon–Honolulu segment and would leverage Amazon's "extensive domestic network" for the final-mile delivery across the U.S., complementing the South Korean carrier's existing cargo operations out of Los Angeles (LAX), Newark (EWR), and San Francisco (SFO).

It also positions the airline to serve a broader range of logistics needs—from global e-commerce and corporate freight to third-country transhipment.

"This partnership has expanded our cargo network across the Americas. Leveraging our strong routes between Asia and the US, we are reinforcing our competitiveness in the global logistics market," Air Premia said in a statement.
