DSV OPENS SINGAPORE'S FIRST "POSITIVE ENERGY" LOGISTICS FACILITY
July 11, 2025

DSV has officially opened RedLion2, a cutting-edge logistics facility in Tampines LogisPark that it touts as Singapore's first "positive energy" logistics site.

With this latest addition, DSV's total logistics footprint in Singapore expands to 6.3 million sqft across 28 sites.

DSV said RedLion2 is connected by a Skybridge to the existing SLC3 facility, and forms a 1.2 million sq. ft. mega-campus, making it the largest logistics campus in Singapore and anchors the most significant 3PL footprint in Tampines Logispark.

DSV designed the site with advanced automation and sustainability features to drive its push toward greener, smarter supply chain solutions in Southeast Asia.

Supported by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB), RedLion2 is Singapore's largest solar-powered logistics hub and the first to achieve the prestigious Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Green Mark Platinum Positive Energy Building (PEB) certificate.

DSV noted that key sustainable features include nature-inspired spaces, smart building management, and the use of circularity-sourced materials, enabling the facility to produce 15% more energy than it consumes. It is purpose-built for the semiconductor industry and features intelligent automation such as AutoStore, shuttle sorters, and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) across four seamlessly connected levels.

The facility also features a dedicated Innovation Sandbox, designed to foster collaboration with local SMEs in piloting and scaling emerging technologies.

"The Innovation Sandbox serves as a launchpad for bold ideas and future-ready solutions — a space to co-create with local SMEs, academic institutions, and other partners to test emerging technologies and upskill talent. RedLion2 is not just about operational advancements; it's also about redefining what's possible in logistics," said Catherine Soo, CEO, DSV Solutions Asia Pacific.

Albert-Derk Bruin, Global CEO, DSV Solutions, said RedLion2 strengthens the company's presence in Singapore. "Together with the upcoming Pearl facility in the West, our total Contract Logistics footprint will soon reach more than 47 million square feet across more than 300 sites across Asia Pacific."

"This underscores Singapore's strategic role in our global network and our continued commitment to serving customers with greater speed, reliability, and innovation across the globe," Bruin added.

Chan Ih-Ming, executive vice President, EDB, said RedLion2 will play a vital role in supporting high-value manufacturing in Singapore by offering advanced logistics handling capabilities to meet diverse industry needs.

"We are appreciative of DSV's deep commitment to our logistics ecosystem, including strong collaboration with local SMEs and industry partners," he said. "In addition to creating highly skilled roles here, this investment grows our logistics capacity and capabilities, reinforcing Singapore's role as a trusted node in Asia for global supply chains and trade flows".

Christine Wong, assistant chief executive officer, Cluster Group, JTC, also cited RedLion2 as a "pioneering energy-positive logistics facility" at Tampines LogisPark.

"It sets a clear path for next-generation logistics with its sustainable construction, innovative positive energy capabilities, and advanced intelligent automation solutions. The facility will establish new standards in logistics solutions, drive operational excellence, and expand capacity for future growth," she said.
