Global shipping schedule reliability continued to improve in June, reaching the highest point since November 2023, according to a new Sea-Intelligence report.

"This is the highest figure recorded since November 2023 and continues the trend of consistent M/M improvements since February this year," Sea-Intelligence said.

For June 2025, the report found Maersk as the most reliable top-13 carrier with a schedule reliability of 81.0%, followed by Hapag-Lloyd with 76.5%.

The next 7 carriers were in the 60%-70% range, and the remaining carriers were in the 55%-60% range. Yang Ming had the lowest June 2025 reliability of 55.4%.

Sea-Intelligence explained that traditionally, alliance scores are based on just the arrivals in destination regions, but as that metric was not available for the new alliances in February, the Danish maritime consultancy company introduced a new measure, based on all arrivals, including the origin region calls on the East/West trades.

"We continue to present both measures, "All arrivals," which is comparable to the February measure, and "Trade arrivals", which is comparable to the "old" alliances," Alan Murphy, CEO, Sea-Intelligence, explained. "When the new alliances are fully rolled out, these two measures will converge."

Sea-Intelligence noted that for the "old" alliances, "ALL arrivals" are equal to "TRADE arrivals", and Ocean Alliance scored 71.0%.
