YANG MING BOOSTS INTRA-ASIA NETWORK WITH NEW NORTH CHINA-INDONESIA SERVICE

Yang Ming Marine Transport Corporation (Yang Ming) continues to strengthen its operations in the intra-Asia shipping market and enhance its China-Southeast Asia service network.

 

It announced that in response to the robust growth of the Indonesian market and increasing regional trade demand, Yang Ming will launch a new North China – Indonesia – Malaysia Service (CIM) effective Oct. 31.

 

The CIM service will follow the Dalian – Xingang – Qingdao – Ningbo – Surabaya – Jakarta – Singapore – Port Klang – Kaohsiung – Dalian port rotation. 

 

The CIM service will be jointly operated by Yang Ming, Evergreen Marine Corporation, and Wan Hai Lines Ltd., deploying a fleet of five vessels with nominal capacities ranging from 2,400 to 3,000 TEU, providing a fixed weekly service with a 35-day round-trip rotation.

 

"Together with the existing CTI service linking Central China and Indonesia, the new CIM service provides direct transportation from North China to Indonesia will further enhance the China–Indonesia service network and deliver more comprehensive service coverage to meet customer needs," Yang Ming said in a statement.
