deugro has appointed Thomas Wylie as president for Global Strategic Projects, effective February 1, 2026, expanding the company's senior leadership bench during a period of heightened project activity. The move brings Wylie into the firm's circle of presidents, reflecting his long-running role in driving major projects and shaping cross‑regional execution.
Wylie started at deugro Dubai as head of Global Strategic Projects & Accounts in January 2023. Having worked for ALE Heavylift and Mammoet, he has over 13 years of professional experience in the project freight forwarding and heavy lift transportation sector — on both the operational and the managerial level.
"This role reinforces deugro’s commitment to taking full ownership of complex projects. As our clients' projects become more technically demanding, success comes down to meticulous preparation, tight interface management, and turning engineering and planning into practical execution - with the right people and partners aligned from day one," Wylie said.
"At this level, leadership isn't just about setting direction. It's about backing our teams, driving collaboration, and making sure the right expertise is brought in at the right time and the right place. Keeping this responsibility firmly at management level ensures we stay ahead of market demands and continue evolving alongside our clients," he added.
