According to WFS, Clark will take up his post on February 27, 2017 and will be based in Paris, reporting directly to CEO Craig Smyth.

“I am delighted to be joining one of the world’s leading airport service organizations, especially at such an exciting time in the company’s history,” said Clark. “I’m looking forward to joining the team and making WFS best in class in this industry.”

Clark will join from British Airways where has worked for more than 17 years. He is currently head of ground operations safety, quality and training, and has previously held senior management roles in engineering and ground operations.

“Safety and security is our number one priority,” said Smyth. “As such, David’s appointment brings not only a deep understanding of aviation safety and security risk and regulatory frameworks, but also a current perspective from a major international airline and WFS customer.”
