Time-critical logistics specialist and Lufthansa Cargo subsidiary time:matters has extended its network for same-day transport with the opening of the first same-day air station outside of Europe in Tel Aviv.

“Our company has always striven to grow with our customers,” said Christian Mörtl, COO of time:matters GmbH. “The strong local presence of some of our customers in the region, especially in the high-tech/semicon sector, played a major role in our decision to open our first station outside of Europe. We want to offer our customers the most comprehensive network coverage possible and the best service at all times. By opening a same-day air station in Tel Aviv, we are taking an important step towards further internationalization of our route network.”

Apart from the high-tech and semiconductor industries, time:matters also expects the service to benefit the medical electronics, agricultural technology and telecommunications sectors.

With direct flights to the airports in Frankfurt, Munich and Vienna, time:matters can now offer 90 direct connections a week to and from Tel Aviv, facilitating the transport of shipments weighing up to 38kg and switching between the various airlines at any time. Upon request, shipments can also be picked up and delivered, including customs clearance, even outside of the normal opening hours. Customers can request quotes online and track shipments using the time:matters booking portal.

time:matters already has a same-day network for time-critical shipments consisting of more than 100 destinations within Europe.
