Oman Air Cargo is expanding its Asia Pacific network with the announcement of the launch of four weekly flights from Muscat to Singapore, commencing on July 2, 2026.

The new route, operating a Boeing 737 MAX, will leverage Singapore's role as a global trading hub, providing access to onward connections across the Asia-Pacific region and supporting growing demand on east-west trade lanes.

"As we expand our Asia-Pacific network, our new Singapore service will provide access to one of the world’s most important cargo gateways," said Michael Duggan, head of cargo, Oman Air.

"This new service strengthens Muscat's position as a key connector between the Middle East and Southeast Asia, while also providing key connections further afield and new opportunities for shippers moving high-value and time-sensitive goods."

Oman Air Cargo will target specialised cargo demand on the new route, including the import of high-tech consumer goods, alongside export capacity for perishable goods from Oman.

The carrier noted that the service will also increase capacity for cargo moving from Europe, with a focus on perishables, such as flowers from Amsterdam, alongside automotive parts and fashion goods.

This follows Oman Air Cargo's appointment of five new General Sales Agents last month and the opening of two new offline routes to Australia and Japan.
